Comprehensive Selection Guide

Choose pressure range, 4-20mA, 0-10V, RS485 output and mechanical thread options for hydraulic, pneumatic and process systems.

Comprehensive Selection Guide

1. Pressure Transmitters

Consider these three factors when selecting your transmitter:

  • Application Environment:General Purpose: For clean water, oil, and gas measurement.Industrial Type: For harsh environments requiring corrosion resistance and explosion-proof ratings (ExdB II CT4).
  • Temperature Constraints:Standard: -20 to 85°C.High-Temp: For steam or thermal oil (>150°C), select models with heat-sinks (rated up to 250°C).
  • Output Signal:Analog: 4-20mA (best for long distances) or 0-10V.Digital: RS485 or HART for multi-node networking.

2. Temperature Sensors (RTD/NTC)

Selection depends on your mounting method and required precision:

  • Mounting Adaptability:Device Surface: Use "Surface Mount RTD" or "Magnetic" types for non-invasive testing.Mechanical Parts: Use "Screw-in (M6/M8)" for direct insertion and fast thermal response.Tight Spaces: Use "Ring Lug/Copper Nose" types for bolt-on installation on pipes or brackets.Modular Wiring: Use "Hirschmann Connector" types for quick maintenance and vibration resistance.
  • Accuracy Class:Class B (±0.30°C): Standard industrial control.Class A (±0.15°C): High-precision process monitoring.1/3B or 1/30B (±0.01°C): Laboratory grade or calibration standards.

3. Signal Processing

  • Remote Transmission: If your PLC requires a current signal, equip your sensor with a "Digitally Adjustable Temperature Transmitter Module" to convert raw signals to 4-20mA.
